In Abiline earlier this month, the Texas Stampede Chuckwagon Team took 4th overall at the Western Heritage Classic Chuckwagon Cook-off. Along with cooking breakfast at our Cattle Drive event, the team travels all over Texas and Oklahoma competing with other chuckwagons and helps promote Texas Stampede. The Texas Stampede team members are Eric Williams, Ricky Hicks, Mark Armstrong, Robert Rutter, and Marty Frachiseur. Abiline had 15 teams compete and the Texas Stampede team placed 3rd for Beans, 4th for Bread, and 3rd for Dessert. Congratulations and good luck at the next cook-off!
