In the spirit of honoring Texas Tradition, Children’s Charities and our Western Heritage , River Ranch Educational Charities at Storybook Ranch has partnered with the 2011 Texas Stampede, donating a range of children’s activities at the upcoming festival November 10, 11, 12. “We are excited to be involved in this year’s Stampede,” said Wayne Kirk, President of River Ranch Educational Charities. “We are closely linked in what we are trying to achieve for the community and Children’s Charities. I look forward to a long term relationship.”
Texas Stampede consistently works towards improving the quality of life in the community by supporting Children’s Charities in North Texas. The objective of helping children cannot be accomplished without the support of members of the community, pulling up their boots and getting involved in the Stampede.
Storybook Ranch, located in McKinney, Texas, is the new home of River Ranch Educational Charities, a 501©3 non-profit organization, that supports Children’s Charities as well.
The Ranch hosts a wide variety of activities and has something for everyone including: horseback riding, birthday parties, petting zoo, adults and children’s parties, school tours, Scout activities, weddings, reunions, horse camps and so much more.
It is the ideal setting for corporate meetings and functions, team building and other activities with its open spaces and exact replica of an old western town. The old western town comes to life with down-home barbeque and gun slinging in the streets.
The Ranch is the perfect place to join in horse and volunteer programs and there is a community service program, as well. The horse camps and seasonal events at Storybook are available to the public at great rates. The Ranch provides scholarships for their camps and all other services to underprivileged children and kids with special needs. 100% of all proceeds support not only the RREC, but other non -profits as well. From year to date, River Ranch Educational Charities has donated over $125,000.
