Children’s Medical Center Dallas
Children’s is a private, not-for-profit hospital that doesn’t receive any state or county tax dollars. The hospital cares for one out of every five children in the Dallas region and doesn’t turn its back on any child in need. Four out of every seven children who walk through its doors need some type of financial assistance. Last year alone, Children’s provided more than $43 million in verified charity healthcare – whether it was covering the full medical bill or supplementing what insurance wouldn’t cover. Since Texas Stampede’s inception in 2001, the organization has raised more than $2.5 million for pediatric programs at Children’s.
